Does MyCashlessClass charge Vendors for transactions?

With MyCashlessClass, you have two ways to make purchases:
- Direct Purchase: Pay directly using your debit or credit cardSelect the items you want, add them to your cart and enter your debit or credit card details to checkout and pay.
- Pay With Top-Up: Top up credit to your account using your debit or credit card and spend from this balance any time you want.

How to know which suits you best?
Direct purchase is amazing if you need to spontaneously pay for something immediately whilst on the go. It is also good if you are not going to use the solution often but still want to take advantage of being able to conveniently pay from anywhere anytime, from time to time.
You can pay through our portal using your debit or credit card. Funds are deposited directly to the account of the school office/cafeteria or any vendor on our platform you are purchasing from. We DO NOT store your debit or credit card information.
Please note, you will be charged a transaction fee with each direct purchase. See the table below for the total cost of transaction

Paying with Top-up is best if you know you are going to use the solution on a regular basis. Load your account (using your debit or credit card) with the funds you or your child will need for the week and it will be available on your account as a credit whenever you or you child needs it! Hassle-free!
This is great for planning ahead for upcoming expenses eg.
- Prepay for your child’s lunch orders from the cafeteria
- Give your child their allowance for spending in school
Funds used up in your account? No problem, use your Debit or Credit card to Top-up your account again!

Please note, whether you top up or if you use your debit or credit card to make a direct purchase, you are charged the same transaction fee.
The benefit of loading money onto your account rather than paying using direct purchase each time is that you only will only pay the transaction fee when topping up. No fee is charged when you purchase items using credit already on your account.
