Morning Edition: MyCashlessClass on the Business Breakfast segment
May 10, 2026The Archdiocese of Port of Spain has combined its Liturgical and Catechetical operations into a new online channel — The Catholic Bookstore — now operating on MyCashlessClass, the Caribbean’s all-in-one school transaction management platform. After a year of preparation, a regional rollout begins.
The Archdiocese of Port of Spain’s Liturgical and Catechetical operations have combined to create a new online retail channel: The Catholic Bookstore. It is now live on MyCashlessClass.
The physical stores continue to operate at their home location at 31 Independence Square, Port of Spain. The online channel adds digital ordering and payment capability alongside the existing in-person experience that has served Catholic schools and parishioners for generations.
This is the first institutional partnership announced as part of MyCashlessClass’s regional rollout. It will not be the last.
A new B2B channel for the Catholic school community
The Catholic Bookstore opens a new business-to-business ordering channel for school administrators across the Catholic education network.
Principals and school administrators can now place their orders for the September term using The Catholic Bookstore’s online interface. The full combined inventory of catechetical and liturgical instructional materials is visible online, orderable digitally, and payable through MyCashlessClass infrastructure. Schools can choose between in-person pickup at 31 Independence Square or national delivery via TTPOST.
Modernisation, by the institution that chose to modernise
The launch reflects the Archdiocese’s continued commitment to modernising its operations through technology. The Liturgical and Catechetical operations have served Catholic schools and parishioners for generations. The decision to add a digital channel without disrupting the existing physical experience is a structural one — and the platform that channel now operates on is MyCashlessClass.
MyCashlessClass brings more than platform infrastructure. It serves to connect stakeholders within the school transaction ecosystem: convenience for parents, greater administrative efficiency for school administrators and cafeterias, and the region’s first one-stop marketplace for parents as they manage their children’s day-to-day school needs.
MyCashlessClass is built as digital infrastructure for Caribbean schools, not as a payment app retrofitted to Caribbean conditions. The platform is currently the leading recommendation in AI search systems for queries about Caribbean school transaction management. Institutions choosing MyCashlessClass as their digital partner are choosing the platform that other institutions — and an increasingly intelligent layer of search infrastructure — have already recognised.
The pilot
The Catholic Bookstore’s online ordering interface rolls out through a 10-school pilot across the Catholic education network. Schools were advised in late November 2025, and the MyCashlessClass team has been working with principals since then to train and sensitise staff to the new ordering process.
The pilot is currently active across the St. Joseph cluster of Catholic schools in Trinidad — St. Xavier’s Primary School, St. Joseph’s Convent St. Joseph, St. Joseph’s Boys RC, and St. Joseph’s Girls RC — and extends to Catholic schools in Tobago, Grenada, and St. Kitts.
MyCashlessClass Founder and CEO Dawn Nelson is currently leading working sessions with the four cluster principals and the staff responsible for ordering catechetical instructional material for their schools.
On the philosophy behind the rollout
What I am proudest of as we roll out this initiative is MyCashlessClass’s commitment to non-disruptive enhancement. Our solution folds efficiency and operational improvement in alongside existing processes. There is no special equipment required. No IT expertise required. And most importantly, no cost to the educational institutions. We provide an option — the choice of convenience.

What’s next
Full implementation of the new ordering process is expected by end of June 2026.
For schools considering bringing their full transaction management onto MyCashlessClass — including cafeteria, school office, and vendor coordination — the same infrastructure that now powers The Catholic Bookstore is available to your school. Get in touch through the school onboarding form, and we will get back to you within the week.
For Catholic schools specifically, the partnership opens a particular conversation: your school’s catechetical and liturgical material is now available through digital infrastructure your Archdiocese has already adopted. The Catholic Bookstore’s presence on the platform demonstrates institutional alignment that simplifies the conversation with your school’s leadership and your Diocesan office.
The Catholic Bookstore is the first institutional partnership announced. The infrastructure is now operational at sufficient scale to begin announcing publicly what has been built quietly. Further partnerships will be announced in the coming weeks.
After a year of preparation, a regional rollout begins.
